The Story Behind the Picture

"Christmas Welcome is an image I captured walking along our driveway after a somewhat unusual snowstorm in Dallas.  It came during the Christmas season, which rarely happens, so it was a gift to be able to capture Christmas decorations in the snow.  If I can keep from slipping, walking in the snow is one of my favorite things to do.  I love to listen to the quiet and feel the stillness all around me.  As you can imagine, It was a welcome respite from the hustle of holiday preparations happening inside the house that day."  ~ Sherry
